  I called Select Solutions to inquire about getting Lightwave through
them and they told me that after they placed their ad, Newtek informed
them that Lightwave would only be sold through their distributor network
(apparently to help the distributors out). Can anybody provide some
distributors that Lightwave is available through, who has the best price
and availability? My only problem now is trying to decide to stay with my
Amiga and get the Amiga version or go out and join the herd buying 120
MHz Pentiums and get the LW for Windows. Oh well. On a side note, did you
see the Intel announcement that they project the 150 MHz Pentium will be
the LOW end machine by the end of 1996 and selling typically for $1,500?
That's progress for you. Let's see, if I get LW 4.0 for my Amiga now and
use it for a year and hope Newtek offers a cross-platform deal next year
and... <gears grinding slowly>
